Houston Home Cleaning Services That Show Up

Home cleaning in Houston means something specific: gutters that can handle a tropical downpour, siding that gets mildew scrubbed off before it stains permanently, windows that Gulf Coast humidity has turned gray. Ahomeservices has been working Houston homes for 14 years, and Jon's crew carries a 4.7-star rating across 24 Google reviews. Call (832) 244-5652 and we'll tell you straight what the job needs.

We work across Houston proper and the surrounding area, from the Heights and Montrose to Pasadena and Pearland. Houston's weather does more damage to exterior surfaces than most homeowners account for. A gutter clogged before hurricane season backs water up under the fascia. Mildew on vinyl siding in a neighborhood like Meyerland or Braeswood doesn't slow down on its own. We know the housing stock here and we know what it takes to keep it clean.

GUTTERS

Gutter Cleaning Before Houston's Next Storm

Houston gets more rainfall than Seattle. Your gutters need to be clear before the next system rolls in.

Clogged gutters in Houston aren't a minor inconvenience. When three inches falls in two hours, blocked downspouts push water into soffits, behind fascia boards, and along foundation lines. We clean gutters on homes across Houston, pulling out compacted debris, flushing the downspouts, and telling you honestly if something needs repair before it becomes a water problem. We don't upsell gutter guards on every job. If your gutters are in good shape and just need cleaning, that's what we say.

PRESSURE WASHING

Pressure Washing Houston Driveways and Siding

01

Driveway and Concrete

Concrete driveways in Houston grow algae and oil stains fast. A good pressure wash strips years of buildup in one visit.

02

Siding and Exterior Walls

Vinyl, Hardie, and wood siding all collect mildew in Houston's climate. We match the wash method to the material so nothing gets damaged.

03

Fences and Patios

Wood fences go gray and concrete patios go green. We clean both without stripping the wood or etching the concrete.

04

Post-Storm Cleanup

After a storm blows through, there's often a coat of debris and mud on every surface. We handle post-storm washdowns across Greater Houston.

Window Cleaning Inside and Out

driveway and concrete work, project example in Houston, AL
Houston's humidity leaves a film on exterior glass that builds up fast, especially on west-facing windows taking afternoon sun. We handle interior and exterior window cleaning on residential homes across the city. Interior windows get the same attention as exterior ones, which is something a lot of window cleaners skip. If you've got hard water spots on your glass from irrigation overspray, we deal with those too. Victor has gotten plenty of calls in neighborhoods like River Oaks and West University where the windows hadn't been properly cleaned in years.

Frequently asked questions

Do you clean gutters in all Houston neighborhoods?
We cover Houston proper and the surrounding area, including inner-loop neighborhoods like the Heights, Montrose, and West University, as well as suburbs like Pearland, Katy, Sugar Land, and Pasadena. If you're not sure whether we come to your part of town, call (832) 244-5652 and we'll tell you directly. Most of the time the answer is yes.
How often should Houston homeowners clean their gutters?
Houston's tree canopy and rain frequency mean at least twice a year for most homes. Homes under large oak or pine trees often need cleaning three times a year, especially in the Heights and older River Oaks neighborhoods where tree cover is dense. Before hurricane season starts in June is the most important time. A blocked gutter during a heavy storm is a much bigger problem than a clogged one in a dry month.
Is pressure washing safe for Houston homes with older siding?
Depends on the siding type and its condition. Homes in older Houston neighborhoods like Montrose or Woodland Heights often have wood siding that won't tolerate high-PSI washing. We adjust pressure and technique based on what's on the house. Vinyl and Hardie siding in newer builds out in Katy or Pearland are more forgiving, but we still don't blast at full pressure as a default. If the surface needs a soft-wash approach, that's what we use.
What does the exterior window cleaning process look like for a Houston home?
We work top to bottom on all exterior glass, removing the film that Houston's humidity and traffic deposits on windows over time. West-facing windows that take afternoon sun tend to build up the most. If there are hard water spots from irrigation overspray, we treat those separately. The whole process for an average Houston single-family home typically takes a couple of hours. Interior windows get the same attention if that's part of what you're scheduling.
Can you handle both gutter cleaning and pressure washing on the same visit in Houston?
Yes. Most of our Houston customers combine at least two services in a single visit, whether that's gutters and windows, pressure washing and siding, or all three together. It's more efficient for you and it means one crew, one trip, and one call to schedule. Call (832) 244-5652 and let us know what you're working with.
Do you do siding washing on Houston homes with mildew problems?
That's one of the most common calls we get in Houston. Gulf Coast humidity accelerates mildew growth on both vinyl and Hardie siding, especially on north and east-facing walls that don't get afternoon sun. We use a soft-wash process that kills the mildew at the surface rather than just blasting it off temporarily. Homes in Meyerland, Braeswood, and other neighborhoods near Brays Bayou see a lot of this because of the moisture level in that part of the city.
